Situational Intelligence (formerly CogniCity) is a free and open source software for communities facing increasing climate risk.

It powers real-time disaster mapping platforms that provide hyperlocal intelligence, enabling better decision making and coordination for residents, emergency managers, and first responders during floods, storms, earthquakes, and other crises.

Initiated in 2017 by Disaster Map Foundation, it now supports more than 350 million people across Asia, is adopted by national governments in Indonesia and the Philippines, and has been iteratively refined by the frontline communities who rely on it.

The software is designed to be adaptable to a wide range of geographies and hazards.
